Process: Made by screen-printing patterns in iron onto paper and then transferring them onto the coasters, fired to 2300ºF and cooled without oxygen until 1375º, a process known as "Reduction Cooling", designed to retain the clay's black Iron color from the reduction of oxygen in the iron molecule.
