About our Dinnerware
Like our tile, FLM Ceramics stoneware is hard to place on any timeline; it fits in a contemporary kitchen, yet it references the past. It’s like antique ware from any given part of the world though it’s meant to be used daily. Our stoneware is as comfortable on a formal dining table as it is in your car's drink holder, and like cast iron, it just keeps getting better with age. Designed by Forrest Lesch-Middelton, our stoneware is made as a blank on a 30 ton press and each mug is trimmed, pattern is applied, and handles are added by skilled potter's hands so that each pot retains a unique feel from one to the next.

Caring for your FLM Ceramics Stoneware
Like Cast Iron, our stoneware is best when it is used often and cared for properly. The interiors are glazed with a beautiful, durable, lightly crazed Chun Blue celadon. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Each cup will come to you “pre-seasoned”, this process allows the outer unglazed surface to absorb the natural oil and repel any stains which makes it easier to care for and clean. We are big coffee and tea drinkers in our home, we use our cups daily and attest that they just get better over time!
